In the present article, it focuses on the problematic, on the deficient level of knowledge in the use of the computer microcomputer peripherals, by the students of the career of Information Technology and Computer Systems Engineering of the academic period November 2018 - March 2019, aims to analyze each of the peripheral computing devices, such as: output, input, storage, communication and input / output, to update the theoretical-practical knowledge and achieve the necessary flexibility in the use of these computer elements, allowing scientific and technological change, the type of research is qualitative, applying theoretical methods such as induction-deduction, analysis-synthesis; in the empirical order, the surveys and the closure with the application of statistical-mathematical methods. The methods described allowed the diagnosis to be made on the needs of the students, implement a technical guide on the management of peripheral computing devices, has the result of implementing a technical guide on the management of peripheral computing devices, which allows improving teaching learning in the students of careers.
