Syphilis and HCV infection are among the secondary causes of nephrotic síndrome, their relationship is well known although rare, especially in our environment, but this cannot exonerate us fron thinking about them, much less from not indicating serological test for its diagnosis, even more so in adolescents due to the notable increase in incident cases of sexually transmitted infections in recent times, the early onset of sexual relations and unprotected practices. Also because this condition is curable with specific treatment. Therefore, we believe it is of interest to call the attention of this association that, because it is rare, can go unnoticed. The objective of this paper is to present an adolescent, female, with no pathological history, with secondary luetic disease, HcV infection and coincident nephrotic syndrome, who was treated with penicillin, rest, diet, diuretics and antiproteinuric agents, observing complete resolution after treatment first week of treatment.
