Abstract

In the present investigation, the dasometric evaluation of a Tectona grandis L.f.  Plantation was carried out. located in the province of Guayas, canton of Balzar, hacienda La Sabana Forestal 1. According to the results obtained, it was determined that the diameter developed is 9.55 cm, in the period 2015. The height achieved is an average of 8.49 m high, the average annual increase in commercial volume (m3) per hectare of the teak forest plantation is 7.68 m3 / ha / year, in the period 2015. The average annual increase in diameter, the result was 2.73 cm / year, the average annual height increase was 2.43 m / year. The average annual increase in volume results obtained using the general coefficient of form factor for wood in logs of 0.5 was 6.40 m3 / ha / year, and using the coefficient for Tectona grandis, Wood in Foot form factor 0.6 was obtained as a result 7.68 m3 / ha / year. The ICA was carried out between the period of 2014 and 2015, from which the following results were obtained: the annual current increase in diameter was 2.43 cm., The annual current increase in total height was 1.73 m ., the current annual increase corresponding to the volume with general coefficients of form factor for wood in logs of 0.5 was obtained as a result 12.30 m3 / ha / year, using the coefficient for Tectona grandis, wood in 0.6 foot was obtained as a result 14.76 m3 / ha / year.
