The perception of the landscape is a broad, multidisciplinary and complex field of study, but it is vital for proper planning and territorial organization, especially in an area as sensitive to the landscape as tourism. The objective of this work was to identify the relationships that are established between society and the environment in the La Planchada community, identifying the main species of interest for tourism, environmental problems, and the effect that tourism activities have on the ecosystem. Surveys were conducted with 11 resident families and six visitors, which were complemented with interviews, observation and field trips. The most important tourist attractions are the La Planchada waterfall, the sulfur water wells, the Baden and the wild species. The differentiation of the community with the other tourist areas is the gastronomy, tourist resources and customs, among others (cleaning, residents). The main environmental problems detected are pollution, indiscriminate felling of trees and excessive burning.
