Abstract

This paper analyzes how neuroscience can contribute to the cognitive and emotional development of students with specific educational needs within the framework of inclusive education. Its main objective is to identify strategies based on neuroscientific principles that facilitate meaningful and personalized learning. A qualitative methodology was used through content analysis and a literature review in scientific databases such as Scopus and PubMed. The results show that tools such as neurofeedback, virtual reality, mindfulness, and gamification have a positive impact on executive functions, attention, memory, and social skills. Likewise, the teacher's role as a key mediator is highlighted, as well as the need for training in neuropedagogy to implement effective classroom strategies. Collaboration between educators and specialists also proves essential to ensure appropriate interventions. In conclusion, the application of neuroscience in education fosters inclusive environments by recognizing the diversity of students and their unique learning processes. Scientific evidence supports the implementation of practices that promote holistic development, equity, and the active participation of all students.
