This research was carried out under a mixed approach with a non-experimental design and a type of descriptive research, where the population refers to 60 individuals and the sample of 20 students and 3 teachers. The instruments used to collect the data were an interview and a survey prepared by the authors and validated by experts. Resulting in the fact that the majority of students and teachers are the importance of the functionality of the tasks in relation to academic performance.
