La práctica del valor de la responsabilidad y su incidencia en el rendimiento escolar de los alumnos del cuarto año básico: The practice of values in students is fundamental, in this case the value of responsibility of great interest that is being lost, and it is at home where they are taught and assigned activities that they have to carry out, where each one of the family members play a leading role and the institution is strengthened. Therefore, it is necessary for students to fulfill the academic obligations reflected in actions and aptitudes. The objective of this research study is to implement a pedagogical strategy in the practice of the value of responsibility to enhance the academic performance of students in the fourth year of basic education at the Unidad Educativa Fiscal “Quince de Octubre, through a diagnosis and identification of factors that generate patterns of the value under study. The research methods and techniques used allowed the handling of the information and its processing and interpretation to facilitate an approach to this problem and offer recommendations for its realization. Effective results were obtained that show that responsibility is a value that is related to awareness that allows us to reflect on the consequences to face well the day to day of the course and school obligations. In conclusion, human values are essential for the development of students’ school activities, established for a better understanding and academic achievement to put into practice the knowledge acquired in daily life, this value should be promoted from home.
